I am 5 weeks pregnant and everything has been good up until today. I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped, the toliet paper had brown, stringy, thick stuff on it and some brown spotting. What is going on? I'm really freaking out, this is my first pregnancy and I've been ttc over a year now. Has this happened to anyone, and what was the outcome?

  1. i had exactly the same thing but mine was at 6 weeks i went to the hospital they thought it was implantation bleeding however they then found out i lost a twin  i dont mean to scare u ur prob fine but get urself checked out 2 be on the safe side

  2. That  happened to me at about 5  weeks. I was stressed behind the baby father and stuff but im not trying to scare u either but i had a miscarriage too. Brown spotting was the first sign i also had, then it red blood took the place of that. if u not having any serious cramping with it u should be fine but still u need to be checked by a doctor.

  3. Same thing happened to me at about 5 1/2 weeks. I'm going to be honest with you, my pregnancy ended in miscarriage. The brown spotting was the first sign, then it got heavier and turned into red blood. BUT the good news is that spotting is common and at first my doctor wasn't worried about the brown spotting. So it's possible everything is fine with your pregnancy. I would definitely call the doctor, they will order tests to make sure. Good luck, hope everything is fine!!!

  4. it's very normal to have spotting when pregnant. if it's bright red and your having horrible cramps, then something is not right. some girls still get there period when they are pregnant. if it worries you then go get it checked out. i might be also the changes in your hormones too. just relax and just take care of yourself. worrying will not do you any good! good luck with everything.

  5. I think you would set your mind at ease just to go the Doctor. So they can try to find out what exactly is going on. I hope everything is fine with you, I know how worried you are, I lost one at 9 weeks last year and it was devastating. But please try to not stress about it, and see a doc right away.

  6. i think you are prolly ok....i m/c'ed last year at 8weeks so i understand...but unless you are cramping or  its red blood then you are prolly ok.......but if it would make you feel better go see your dr.GOOD LUCK I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT! lots of sticky vibes coming at you!!!!!

  7. Could just be implantation bleeding. Call your dr to be safe!
