5 year old birthday ideas?

I live in a small country town in Australia and my daughter turns 5 in 3 weeks. I want to do the birthday in my yard but after recent heavy rain half of my yard is bogged and my house is too small for the party to be inside. There will be about 15 kids and the only other option is mcdonalds but that is 30 minutes away. Any ideas how I can stop my little guests from being covered in mud and stagnant water? Party games that will require some indoors? I dont want to cancel the party as 5 is a big birthday.

  1. you should have it like hide and seek or pin the tail on the donkey birthday cake or cupcakes and like clowns ballons candy and stuff like that :) GL on Her party!!!!

  2. Indoor parties can be great.  I've done plenty of them.  I almost always have a simple craft for the kids to do.  Another  thing that works great is hiding little trinkets around the house and having the kids go on a treasure hunt.  You could cater this to your theme if you have one.  For example, if she likes princesses, you could hide plastic jewels, bracelets, etc. around the house.  Each child gets a bag, purse, etc. (this could even be part of the craft - to decorate a bag) to hold their treasures.  Kids love it.  Truth be told,,,no matter how many activities you plan, what the kids really enjoy is "free play" and cake!  Good luck.

  3. Well eather take all the kids to mcDonalds in ur car. or lol put down tarps and nail them to the ground and do that lol!

  4. it will have to be inside little kids like ballons cake clowns well some kids like clowns pizza pin the tail on the donkey musical chairs
