Tonight, my son's wanted to sleep together and they wouldn't go to sleep so we seperated them and even after that 3 hours later we finally got the youngest to sleep but the older one kept throwing a fit as he wanted his brother in his room. Even after telling him if he went to bed tonight maybe tomorrow but he had to go to sleep. Moments later he had his fingers down his throat and was throwing up all over his bed. Why has he done this? He has only done it 2 times maybe 3 before. This isn't always an issue. any help would be great, when our family doctor gets back into town on the 16th I do plan on seeing her.

Thanks!

  1. beat his *** every time he does it

  2. why fight this?  get the kids a bigger bed, put a night light in the room, and close the door.  they will sleep eventually and your home will be peaceful again.

  3. he is playing on your sympathy, he knows you will submit to his temper tantrum.  My daughter use to hold her breath and it would freak my wife out I would let her pass out and it stop.  Once he realizes he can't play anymore he will stop.

    Good Luck

  4. He's doing it for attention, tell him if he throws up then he's going to be sleeping in whatever he throws up in and if he doesn't like it then he can clean it himself.
