  1. Not in a bad way. All it means is that your friend's son hasn't taken any of his drawing and/or other work home. All your fryend has to do is take the stuff home.

  2. No, it's not a problem now, but it could develop into one.  Some kids just have problems with organization and tidiness; I was one.  My locker and desk were always cluttered.  Now my house is!  I wish I'd gotten it under control as a child!

My daughter is the same way and it caused her problems through school.  She had such a mess that she could never find anything -- such as papers when they were due.  Her grades suffered because of it.  If she did a paper and turned it in, she'd get an A or B.  But, you know, if you can't turn it in because you can't find it, you get an F.

  3. If that is his biggest problem, then he is a lucky Dad.

  4. no...but i would try to help him keep it organized because when he's in maybe in 6th grade it will be a trouble. I think you should teach him to be organized.

  5. simply have your friend remind his son to bring home all his papers each evening after school.  He could get a reward for remembering until it's a natural habit. some kids just need extra reminders - he probably has play on his mind and will need those papers to see if he has homework or papers for Dad to fill out.  good luck!
