  1. No. 50mg+50mg=100mg

    1 gram is 1000mg

  2. I believe you are short a couple of zeros.  Mili means "thousand".  So a 1000 miligrams = 1 gram, or 500 + 500.  100 mg = .1 grams.   100 centigrams is a gram.  (centi = 100)  1 kilogram is 1000 grams. (kilo = 1000)

  3. Yes, kcis, it is. mg is millagram, kind of like millaliter, so 50 millagrams+50millagrams would intern, be 1 gram.

  4. Not unless I didn't get the memo.

    50mg + 50mg= 100mg which is 0.1 grams.

  5. nope. 1000mg = 1 gram

  6. Nope. m = milli = parts of a thousand

    mg = out of a thousand parts of a gram

    50mg = 50 parts out of a thousand parts of a gram

    50mg+50mg = 100 parts out of a thousand parts of a gram

    500mg + 500mg = a thousand parts out of a thousand parts of a gram = 1g

  7. 50mg + 50 mg = 100mg

    500mg + 500mg = 1 gram
