50x4 WATT BUILT IN AMP?

Question

I saw a cd player which is; 50x4 WATT BUILT IN AMP. Could I plug two, 100 watt speakers to it ? or is it four 50w channels?

Cause i can only have two speakers.

u have to know the rms of the speakers..ur cd player says that but u cant go by that..u have to guy the rms..which for most radios is 22 x 4..the 50 x 4 is the peak power ...so u r going to get 22 watts of power off each channel in the cd player.thats 88 rms
