525 BMW On a Banker's Budget.................

Is this odd. There's this guy getting a new car every 2 years I mean Volvo's Bmws, Mercedes.

He works part time at a bank making minimum wage, and now has a 525 BMW 2008 model. Sometimes his car just sits for days at his home.

His brother recently "crashed" his brand new Cadillac, and got a new BMW also. Also, a banker who makes minimum wage.

Is this suspicious or what?

Their dad has a custom van with tinted windows that's worth $50K, and the van is parked around other people's homes days on end meaning he never uses it. He also drives another car and sometimes it just disappears for weeks on end? What could these people be doing???

  1. If all you are seeing is a bunch of fancy cars and no other suspicious conduct, your imagination is running overtime.  Many people purchase or lease or put on credit lavish expenditures without the means to support themselves.  Check out our mortgage problems as a prime example.

Also, they just don't want anyone near their cars... not unusual behavior under the circumstances.

  2. You should call the police tip hotline for your city.It should be listed in the phone book under the police dept.Or their website.

It is an anonymus number so no one will know it is you. Let them handle it.

My dad called one time about an apartment that had a lot of traffic and the cops watched them and finally broke the doors down and found a lot of drugs. I'm glad he did.

  3. --- I can find plenty of reasons for both legal and illegal reasoning behind the activity you are describing. People can inherit money, win money or collect money from an insurance pay out.

--- On the other hand people can make fast amounts of money by selling drugs, selling people ( bringing in illegals ), or stealing technology secrets.

--- Whether or not its illegal it sounds a little suspicious the way you described it, however how do you know what this guy and his brother do? And you say the brother is a minimum wage "banker." I am just wondering what banking job is minimum wage? If you mean he is a janitor at a bank say he is a janitor.

--- My next question is why are you interested in this? Do they live in your neighborhood? Do you know them? How long have they lived in your neighborhood? If they are not new then has there been some change in behavior that made you take notice?

--- Finally, if you really are suspicious that something is wrong there then I suggest you do the following:

    (a) --- Take your time and write all your reasons and suspicions down on paper. Take your time and do it over a period of a week or two so that you get them all. Describe why these behaviors make you feel suspicious of or uneasy about criminal activity.

    (b) Remember- Who, What, When, Where, How and Why

    (c) --- Write down the license plate and vehicle description ( make, model, color, condition and any special identifiers ) from each vehicle.

    they have.

--- Now you have to decide whether you want to report this anonymously or not. By that I mean do you even want the police to know you are the one bringing this up.

--- If you decide on anonymous then you will have to write up a very detailed and explicit cover letter. A message that explains why you think it necessary this be checked out. You need to put yourself in the officer's seat and write it in such a way that will make him want to check into it. Then you need to send it to your local law enforcement agency in care of the detective bureau.

--- If you decide to be a courageous, forthright and upstanding citizen and make the complaint in person then you need to go a little further. Write out the cover letter as before and make yourself thoroughly familiar with the information.

--- Then make an appointment with your local agency to come in and speak to a detective. Then you will have you chance to explain why you think something is wrong. Also, you are going to want to tell him what you want out of this. Very basically tell him that what you are looking for is someone to just run the auto registrations and see if the names on them come back with criminal histories that you should be concerned about. And this you want done to protect your family and neighborhood from criminal activity.

--- There may be nothing wrong at all with these people, however there could be lots wrong too. There really isn't enough information here to know for sure. Thus you must request that your law enforcement representative look it over. Maybe its nothing, maybe its something. Either way you will feel better when you find out for sure.

There is another route you can take for this also. You can get the license plates from the cars and pay an on-line private detective service to look them up for you. Then you can have them do criminal history checks on the listed owners. They can do a lot of checking for you but of course you have to pay. If you have the bucks its nice because then you stay very anonymous. I placed a couple linbks in the source box for a couple sites that you can have a look at and here is a list of services by one of them:
