  1. Multiply width by height to get area Must use same dimensions.

    52 in. is 52/12=4ft.4in., or 4.33 ft.

    I'm sorry I can't help further- I have no idea what 34 8f

    means. If it is 34.8ft., multiply 4.33 X 34.8, = 150.68

    square feet.

    If it's 34ft 8in., that's 34.67ft. Multiply 34.67 X 4.33=

    150.12 square feet.

  2. repeat the question and use english!

  3. 52 inches by 348 feet is 1507.999 sqft

    52 inches by 34.8 feet is 150.7999 sqft

    52 inches by 34 feet is 147.333 sqft

    I don't know what 34 8f is.

  4. If you mean 34.8', then it is 21,715.2 "

  5. Are you trying to calculate square footage (area) or cubic footage (volume)?  Square footage would be similar to calculating how much carpet to buy for a bedroom floor.  You do not care how tall the room is.  Volume would be useful to know how many cubic feet of storage boxes would fit in a moving truck.

    In your question, you ask for square footage of 52 inches by 34.8 feet (I think since the question is worded strangely.

    First convert the 34.8 feet into inches (34.8 * 12) = 417.6 inches.

    Next multiply 52 inches times 417.6 inches and you get 21,715.2 inches.

    There are 144 square inches in a square foot (12 times 12).  So divide 21,715.2 by 144 and you get 150.8 square feet.

    If you meant to ask something other than 52 inches by 34.8 feet, rephrase the question.

  6. 52in =4 1/3ft

    34in=2 5/6ft

    8ft =8ft

    4 1/3 multipiled by 2 5/6 multiplied by 8 should give you the answer.

  7. Sorry but your question is nonsense: Do you mean 52in by 348 ft? Or 34.8 ft? Or: "52in by 34 (inches or what?) and, oh btw, it's also 8f high" (?8 feet high or did you *really* mean to type 8f [ie 8 degrees fahrenheit}!) Or is there some other permutation in there that I can't see?

    Anyway all you need to do to find the area (which is what sq. ft is!) of anything is multiply the length by the width of whatever it is you're measuring*. You must make sure both measurements are stated in identical units though: EITHER feet OR inches (1 ft = 12in). You mustn't muddle the two.

    *measuring length X width X height gives you the area (or volume) in cubic feet, not sq ft. You only ever need two measurements to measure something in sq ft.

  8. what's a 'highwhats'?  square feet of what? exterior or interior? so now we have three questions stemmed from one poorly worded one. wow! the day's young and already i'm pooped!

  9. what?

  10. You have obviously misread the question, or typed it in incorrectly.

    If you have three dimensions and I'm assuming that you are saying :- 52" x 34" x 96". If this is the case, you have cubic measure, not square measure.

    If my assumptions are correct, you should have :-

    169,728 cubic inches or 98.2 cubic feet.

    n.b. 8f =96"

  11. You gave 3 dimensions. Unless you are asking how many CUBIC feet instead of SQUARE FEET, correct your question.
