55,000BTU R55c Multifuel auto start.

Question

Blows raw fuel when trying to start. Take top cover off and it will start. Will run when putting top back on. Will not start again unless I take top cover off. Has two s***w, I assume adjustments, on the end One is bigger than the other. How are they used for adjustment. I don't have a manual.
