yea why not. don;t listen to the mean ppl trying to make you feel bad. love can happen at any age between any consenting adults. besides 18 + is an adult and knows whats right and wrong. and 57 aint that old. i think it would last. Best of Luck. :)

Well I'm 22 and I dated a 17 year old not so long ago, and even that age difference caused me to feel weird. I'm sorry if I sound narrow minded when I say this, but your age difference with your boyfriend doesn't sound right.

Speaking as one who is well past the 50 year mark, it will last until her money runs out or she's in a nursing home--whichever comes first.  It HAS to be all physical (as hard as that is to believe).  The young guy is gettin' some on a regular basis, and that keeps him coming back.  What in the world do they talk about (if they talk)?  I wouldn't have a clue.....
