#5825 the phone connected

#5825 the phone connected to the internet works o.k. The second phone just keeps "searching". I have replaced all 6 batteries and followed instructions. It does not not seem to contact with the other phone. Cleaned the contacs as instruction say - no help.Please give some directions that might help me.
