I have a 28day cycle and had my last period on 6th August. I BD most of the week 16-22nd August, every night except 21st.

This is going to be the slowest 9 days ever, lol. I have tested from 9DPO in the past but i am scared of doing that again and getting a false negative, just seems like a lifetime away, lol

  1. I tested positive 3 days before my missed period with my first.  We are trying to conceive #2 and I am going to test on Thursday (10 dpo and 4 days before next expected period) The days are dragging by for me as well, you are not alone. :-D

  2. I am 10dpo and although I test late in the day I am still getting negatives.  I had a bunch from early-pregnancy-tests.com and thought maybe since they were supposed to detect it early I would get a positive already but so far nothing...not even a faint line if I squint.  :(

I think I am going to wait until my missed period on the 28th to test again.

  3. Faint positive at 9DPO (earliest tested) and BFP at 11dpo.  Most test recommend waiting 10DPO.

There is no such thing as false negative this early. By 8-9DPO there might not be enough HcG to show positive - doesn't mean negative. Best to wait till Hcg level has increased.

    Good luck.

  4. I hear ya! I have to wait until this weekend to test. This has been the longest 2 weeks ever so far. Ive heard you can test 5 days prior, but I dont want to get upset if it's negative for testing too soon.

  5. do yourself a favor and wait to test until you have a missed period, the results will be that much more accurate and you will save yourself heartache and money on all of those false negative tests. try to refocus your attention and time on other things....

im due for my af on saturday and i have been reading new books which are soooo good, its a series of four books by emily giffen and the first book is called something borrowed and after that is something blue, then baby boomers then love the one your with. just started the third book today (only been a month since i started reading them and its definitely keeping me busy), i cant believe that i get to test in 5 days, this is the first month that the time has just flown by.

i would recommend getting these four books and read away, there so good and easy reads! have fun and lots of baby dust to you! keep me posted xoxo
