Question:

5k teen girl time?

I am going into highschool and want to run xcountry (cross country). I am tallish am a girl going into highschool. What do you think I should go for time wise. I know I shouldn't push myself and yaddy yaddy ya. Any guesses would help. I just want to know if I am doing well for being a girl and a teenager.

  1. around 25 is average/ok

    for varsity pretty much anything under 20 min

    it just depends if you've done track before, and how athletic you are. but running is a sport where you can become so much better if you just put in the work. and you should push yourself to see how amazing you can do!


  2. If your lean and not in shape I'd say 25-30 Min., if your really serious and want to be one of the best 19-21 Min.  Push yourself, just don't do it 2 days in a row.  If your tall, you can have a big advantage with your stride length.  Good Luck

  3. ok. do ur best and see ur time.

    and dont walk. walking makes u relax even if ur really out of breath do a slow jog as slow as walking but DONT walk.!!!!!!   i was in cross country and gonna be so just try ur hardest.

  4. for people who haven't ran it before should go for about 23-25 min. for the 5k. but if you have ran it before then go for about 20 min or under.

  5. I'd say about 19 or 20 mins. And accually you SHOULD push yourself.
