5k training programs?

I'm starting from scratch and need to find a good program that can help me gain endurance. I would like to eventually do a 5k without stopping.

  1. practice running for 30 min then increase your time and before you know it you'll be past 5k


  2. Go to runnersworld.com and use smart coach.  You type in how fast you want to be and how hard you want to train.  It gives you a training program.
