Okay so i am not perscribed adderall because i do not have ADD or ADHD, but still would like to try it due its weight loss benefits. I know everyone will say its not good because its not my meds but 5mg is a childs dosage so would i still get the benefits of appetite suppression?

  1. It will work briefly, but not by much.  Also it will leave you jittery, so do so at your own risk.

  2. 5 mg is not a childs dose. I am an adult who is prescribed Adderall. It does not help you lose weight though. It is basically speed. If you have ADD it makes you feel normal (weird I know!) If you do not have ADD you will feel like you are on speed. Your heart rate will raise.

  3. I am not sure if it will but  i would  not recommend doing this. The dangers of taking someone else's medicine is to high. Doing this can cause you health issues and if you get caught you CAN get in-trouble with the law. Again i would not recommend doing this if you want to lose weight go to a doctor and get your OWN medicine please.

  4. I take Adderall (a much higher dose than that) and it doesn't make that much of a difference in your appetite after you've been taking it for a few months.

You might try something called "Hoodia X57" (its in a green bottle with a gold/bronze colored cap) - I get it at WalMart but have seen it at other stores.  It really helps me not feel hungry and it doesn't have the side effects that adderall has (ie, increased anxiety)

  5. you might, you might also get all the side effects like racing heart, shortness of breath and elevated blood pressure too.  Don't be a fool, don't take medication not intended for you.
