  1. get her involved with helping the community through a non profit organization, Hopefully where she can help underachievers (kids) become better students and stronger model citizens. She should keep reading everything from sci fi to self help from fiction to biographies from history to horror. Everything that goes in is building a better and stronger human. readers are leaders, see if the library would like to give her an hour a week on a certain night where she can get in the newspaper what book she is going to read at what time and what night to certain age group children who are not so good a readers. and maybe grow their immagination while creating the love of reading in others as well

  2. well you couldve just told us the problem not her whole bio but thats very cool too. tell her to ignore them bc in the future youll be the one laughing.

  3. I would say that if it's a possibility, move her out of a public school system and into a private school aimed at more gifted students. She may be intelligent enough to attend college at an earlier age, but social skills do not always match intelligence levels. She may be smart enough to keep up, but being younger than everyone else will not help her depression. If a private school is not an option, or if she is still too advanced for that private school, she could always take courses at a community college or even a state college, whose credits would transfer easier when she actually begins college.

I think you are extremely lucky to have such a gifted daughter. There are many problems she could have that would be much worse, this problem will serve her well in life.

    Good luck!

  4. Although I only land in at a 160, I had much the same problem.  You should encourage her to get out of ordinary school as quickly as she can.  It's torture being there and anything is better.  I ended up skipping a grade and going to university when I was 15 and it was a life saver.  I seriously wouldn't have finished high school if I'd had to stay the extra two years.  You should also contact the local community college and ask if they have any gifted programs or if she could sit in on a class or two.  Be warned, sending her to college early will put her into mature situations earlier than you'd probably like to think about, but she should be smart enough to deal with that!  I don't know where you live so I can't give any exact pointers, but feel free to email me if you want!  Good luck!
