Question:

5weeks and peeing mostly at night?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and seem to only have a problem with peeing at night. During the day I don't pee that much but I drink a lot of fluids. (water, skim milk, juice) Why am I getting up in the middle of the night almost every other hour to pee? Is this normal? I always thought a pregnant woman has a problem with peeing all the time during the day when she's drinking more fluids.

  1. I'm about 9 weeks, and I pee all day and only get up once (so far) at night. I was reading and it says to continue to drink at night but lower your intake, drink more earlier. My body is weird I drink all day, and I get nauseous right when I wake up ( I don't throw up, but get very nauseous) right after I brush my teeth. My throat feels so dry and I need to start drinking right away

  2. I guess it's normal I pee alot at night too:) Not too much in the day, when I turn and try to go back to sleep I have to pee and it's like 5 times or more at night.  So don't worry I am sure it's normal:)

  3. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I have the same problem! I've been getting up almost every hour or two in the night to pee, it does seem to be worse at night than it is in the day. I'm pretty sure it's normal and nothing to worry about, I guess it's our bodies preparing for all those midnight feedings we will be doing, lol. Good luck too you!

  4. I had the same thing.

I spent half the night in the toilet. And I kept on wondering when exactly did I drink so much fluids :-).

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Ul be fine.
