@ 6'10 and with his passing and handling is LO best SF for LA???

Last season wasthe first that he was playing at PF, also Gasols first at C, I think LO will be just fine at SF and in fact he should create a lot of difficulty for all the other Sfs in the league with his ability to handle the ball and pass. He is also one h**l of a rebounder. Imagine LAs froncourt now all over 6'10

Odom is better at PF if they want to run, and at SF if they want to slow it down.

The reason the Lakers were so deadly is because they could run a 4 man, sometimes 5 man fast break. Gasol and Odom are two big men who could run just as well as LA's back court. That made them deadly on offense, they were so fast.

On defense though, LO is better at SF. He'll rebound less, but he won't get beat up inside by the bigger PF's. Plus that is a loooong lineup with Bynum, Odom, Gasol.

Also, I'd like to add that Odom played SF with the Clippers and PF with the Heat and Lakers. Caron Butler was the Heat's SF.

I'm gonna trust Phil to mix the bigs and smalls to. I'd love to see Odom start at SF though.

I think Artest or Marion is better for LA, but Odom is very good too.

Lamar Odom doesn't shoot the outside jumper too be a very effective small forward for the Lakers. He can't get you the tough rebounds and neither can Gasol. Bynum did really well because he cleaned up the glass on the offensive end. It wasn't like he was dominating the boards each time game in and game out it's because of Kobe always commanding a double team. Bynum has limited moves offensively he's still young and he needs to develop those skills in the paint, the injury to him could be a one time thing for him or it could plague him his entire career.

ya i think he will do great as a 3rd /4th option why is everyone hatting on him. plus shawn marion doesnt fit in our system
