6 Day War, 1967, Israel and Egypt (Serious answers only)

Question

The 6 day war was brought up in my class, a lot of people believe that God is responsible for Israel's victory over Egypt(I have no doubt that God played a hand in this, since the people of Israel are the chosen people and this war was foretold in the bible, I'm not trying to disprove the church by no means, I'm just looking for a military point of view of the war), but I believe that Israel won because of their superior technology and since America and Britain sent aid to Israel. I need any websites that have articles or first hand accounts of the war, plus any site or reference that lists the weapons and tech available for the war on both sides. Israel was hugely outnumbered in military forces.

Good planing I think that god had nothing to do with it but.....the thing was Iserial did a shock and awe type of attack the destroyed the superior Egytian airfore with in hours by a massive pre entive strike than the Iseralie air force hadcomplete control of the skies and than they did a kind of blitz tatic and did aroumed thrusts backed by infantry and bog attacks....they won by supressing the Egytian air power

Well, if God had something to do with it, it was in large part by willing the United States to provide Israel with the TOW missile which allowed them to obliterate armored units beyond the range that they could return effective fire. God was pretty slick that day. ;)

The 6 day war was a surprise attack on Egypt and Syria by Israel to destroy their armed forces before they had time to react.

It was very successful and most of the world swallowed Israel's story that they were defending themselves from the Arabs.

In the Red Sea there was an american spy ship the USS Liberty which was attacked and destroyed by the Israeli air force and Israeli Navy because they were gathering data which would have exposed the Israeli lie.

Unknown to the Israelis there was a US air force spy plane high above the region that recorded the sequence of events but the evidence was concealed for political reasons.

On the question of the involvement of sky gods(Israeli or otherwise) it should be remembered that the Arabs are christians and muslims and worship the same god.

The answer is easy. They have American money, American weapons, and an American carrier group off the coast of Israel. God did nothing, you can thank your good friends in the United States for Israel's survival during the 6 day war.

in my experience after been in the military for 20 years now and after been in Israel several times and in many Middle Eastern countries, Israel military has always been more proficient in clear military battles like the past wars, including the 67 war..but has failed short in counter insurgent conflicts like the last Lebanon operation just like we have in iraq and is adapting now..as for Gods intervention? i can not say..I can only give you my military opinion.
