I am going to 6 flags within the next couple of days or so with a few friends. And one of my friends that wants to go is a rather large person. He is about 6ft. 310 pounds. And I was just wondering if there was any weight or size restrictions for rides... is he going to be able to ride anything or is he just gonna get turned away? cause he's like my best friend and I really want him to go. And I don't want him to get embarrassed by getting turned away because he is too big...

  1. No...he shouldnt be turned away! The rides are built to hold thousands of pounds. It will more be an issue of if he can fit in the seat and be able to fasten the selt belt or whatever safety device there is. If he cant do that...then yes he will be turned away b/c they cant let anyone ride that isnt safely secure in the seat. On alot the the roller coasters (as well as some others) they will have a sample seat out in front of the ride....so before you wait in line...make sure he can fit in the seat!

  2. Well, I know that certain swing rides will only let people 200 lbs and under on them. Other than that, the only way he'll know is if he gets on a ride and doesn't fit.

  3. yes, it depends which rides. It also depends what six flags. Some roller coasters have restrictions do to safety issues and there are seat checks in front of some rides to see if a person will fit in a seat.

  4. yeah 310 is too big the max is like 250 he wont fit the bars on the roller coasters sorry.
