6 Man Tag Team Match on NXT and elimination of the first Rookie

The young wrestling rookies of different sizes and fighting skills were standing in the ring and staring at each other. All these rookies belonged to different areas of U.S but they all had one goal and that was to become the next break out star of WWE. It is wrestling season 2 of NXT where different wrestling rookies compete in the ring in different type of wrestling matches. After months of intensive fighting, the rookie receiving the highest number of votes is presented the offer of a full time contract with the premier wrestling organization of the world, WWE.

It was a mega 6 man tag team match and it was a last chance for the rookies to make a final impact in front of the wrestling world. That was the night when the WWE administration announced the first elimination on NXT. Eli Cottonwood teamed up with Titus O’ Neil and Alex Riley to fight against the team of Kaval, Luck Cannon and Michael McGillicutty. The rookies knew that their career and future was on the line as they needed to impress the professional wrestlers and the general crowd.

It was the 7 foot tall giant, Eli Cottonwood who started the match against Michael McGillicutty, the son of the former Inter Continental Champion Mr. Perfect. Michael McGillicutty. He initiated the match be delivering hard punches to the face of Eli Cottonwood. Eli Cottonwood who is not in the habit of being at the receiving end replied by slamming Michael McGillicutty on the ring floor. Eli Cottonwood tagged in Alex Riley and Michael McGillicutty tagged in Lucky Cannon as both teams brought in the fresh wrestler.

Titus O’ Neil and Alex Riley disrespected the rules of professional wrestling and illegally came in the ring together to give a beating to Lucky Cannon. Eli Cottonwood, Titus O’ Neil and Alex Riley then changed their strategy and frequently tagged in each other to beat the already battered Lucky Cannon. Lucky Cannon became the punching bag of his opponents in the middle of the match.

But then everything changed when Lucky Cannon managed to tag in the high flying Kaval. Kaval literally flew in the ring and kicked the jaw of Alex Riley. Kaval quickly went for the cover to end the match but Titus O’ Neil and Eli Cottonwood intervened to end the three count. Then it was all chaos in the ring as all six wrestlers engaged in a brutal street fight. In the middle of chaos, Kaval executed his wrestling finisher. He jumped high in the air and landed on the chest of Alex Riley. He went for the cover and the referee counted to three without any interruption with both shoulders of Alex Riley touching the ring floor.

Then it was the time for the big announcement on NXT. By the end of the match all the assigned mentors and professional wrestlers compiled and counted the votes about the performance of NXT rookies in the last three weeks. The votes were then added to votes by the general wrestling fans around the world. The future of the WWE universe was about to be revealed and rookies desperately waited for the results to be announced. After the final countdown, it was Kaval on 1st position, Show Time Percy Watson on 2nd, Michael McGillicutty on 3rd, Alex Riley on 4th, Lucky Cannon on 5th, Eli Cottonwood on 6th, Husky Harris on 7th and Titus O’ Neil on 8th position.

It was a hard time for Titus O’ Neil as he watched towards the ring with dismay and sorrow. However the crowd cheered for Titus O’ Neil as he made his final comments. Titus O’ Neil said that life is tough but everyone should try to make it a win.
