6 Positive Pregnancy Tests, but they are cheapy ones. How accurate are they?

Question

Brief History:

I am 25, had my 1st son 10 months ago. When we were TTC we did in one month : )

Me and hubby are now TTC a baby brother or sister for our son.(this is our `st month trying again) We are so excited to add another baby to our family and to have them so close in age if we actually succeed.

My LMP was on July 12th. I ovulated from around the 25th to the 29th. I am now 10 DPO and have been testing since 5dpo.

I have only been buying the cheapy tests since I am so excited and test every day. Now the dollar store $1 test showed a faint line at 7dpo but I disregarded it since I thought it was to early and maybe I was seeing things LOL!

At 8dpo I did the $4 dollar store test and it was neg, so i thoughti was seeing things.

Now at 9dpo and 10 dpo I used the $1 dollar store tests both positive and also the target brand that are compared to First response. I got a positive there also but the more I read the more I have read about false positives on those.

How accurate are these tests since 8dpo I have been getting positives but read about false positives....

false positives are extremely rare.

I've only used cheap ones (Equate brand from Wal Mart) and they have always been right. Congrats!

You are Pregnant congrats ... go to the doctor so he can verify this information.

With all the dollar store tests you bought...you could have bought a 3 pack of the First Response tests (which are the most sensetive available) and found out for sure already.

Quite frankly it sounds like you are but I don't know that accuracy of those tests.  I've always used F.R. and they've never been wrong.  And the first positive I got was a full week before my period was due...and it was right.

go buy a reliable one and no more cheap ones they are not reliable resources try ept or first response ok  congrats if you are pregnant
