6 billion in the world. Athletes haven't even begun to surface. Do you agree there are better ?

Question

basketball, football, track and field, swimmers, soccer, beach volleyball, gymnasts, etc. players who will never get the chance to show off their skills?

(sorry. I know there are others who are better than all of those olympians...because there is always someone better. There is no "best in the world' because we haven't touched on athletes all over the world.)

Nope, I do not agree. To be at the levels these athletes are at you would have to be trained under a good coach and have top level competition, and  either one of these would have shown the world who they are if they were indeed the best in the world.

Edit: So all you people who thumbed down my Answer thinks that a unknown volleyball player can beat all these volleyball players in the Olympics without competing against top level competitors? You think a person that just swims everyday can beat Michael Phelps who train specifically for a certain race like the 100 meters to be able to achieve that length at the shortest amount of time? Get real people, you guys have no good arguments to justify your answers while I do. So keep thumbing me down for being ignorant.

Yes...We've had in the past great athletes, well speaking from the USA only, but because of the age restriction we're not able to present the one's who's very good in their sport's craft

yep there is always some one out there who is the winning speciman.

Usain Bolt may be the fastest in the world but there could be some other guy lets say in Timbuktu whos better - its just that hes poor and not funded.

GIve every1 the proper facilities and WR will be broken here and there

Oh yes. I'm sure there are better. I think the best athletes are discovered accidentally, not on purpose.

ofcourse. there are way too many who have incredible talent, but their talent will NEVER be given chance or get recognition because they just don't know how to become athlete or olympian. they have no means at all.

So they just forget and live life like ordinary people.  Over 90% don't even know how to become olympian.  I have seen so many people asking, "how to get in sports? i have no clue"
