His bowels are usually a mustart yellow color, but yesterday they put him on antibiotics for an ear infection and today his p**p is dark green and sort of runny. He is exclusivly breastfed so I am worried he is having a reaction to the medicine. I called the doc and they said they would get back to me in 30 mins, but I was wondering if any of you have expierenced this before?

  1. Perfectly normal. Babies' f***s change any time a new substance is introduced. For example, when you feed him carrots, it might be bright orange. I'm sure the color change is just from the antibiotics. If he's not feverish or vomiting and having diarrhea every hour, then he's perfectly healthy! Congratulations on your baby!

  2. It is correct that anytime a new substance is introduced to your child's body, there poo will change.  When you start on solid foods soon you will see every color of the rainbow matching whatever they eat.  No worries.
