Question:

6 months,no period, am not pregnant,why?

Hi,its been 6 months since i last had my period,my husband and i have been having unprotected s*x for a while now and still all the pregnancy test show negative,i even took the emergency pill,which normally lets you have a period after taking it but nothing is happening,why?I have been to the doctor for a blood test and he is yet to get back to me,any suggestions?

  1. Maybe you've gained weight? When I used to be overweight, I wouldn't have my period, then when I lost it, It's normal..

    If not that, just wait out the blood test results.


  2. The hardest thing to do is to wait...but a blood test is the most accurate way to find out. Hope everything goes well :)

  3. You might be extremely irregular. If your current doctor doesn't notify you, then go to a OBGYN asap to get things checked out.  

  4. stress can cause you not to have one either good luck hope the dr gives you good news.

    so, try to relax, eat well, moderate exercise, and call the doctor for the results of the test.


  6. In-spite of asking question here you should immediately go to a doctor as it may be dangerous as no periods for six months without pregnancy is a bad sign.
