  1. it means the next time u get caught u get a ban

  2. You shouldnt have been daft enought to get caught anyway. Surely you could have pressed the nitrous button to get away from them.

  3. Points are a system in which police can view your driving history, typically the more points the worse off you'll be. If you reach a certain number of points you could have your license revoked, temporarily suspended, suffer heavy fines or even jail time.

Bottom line: Take the time to learn the rules of the road. Otherwise you may not just s***w up your own life, but someone else's as well.

  4. That was rather silly. If you are a new driver you will probably get your licence revoked and you may need to take your driving test again. That means applying for your provisional licence all over again. If you aren't sure, just call the DVLA and find out from them. Better to be safe than sorry. :-)

  5. Yes, if you are a new driver ( passed your test within the last 2 years), then 6 points on your license will mean a 12month ban.

  6. Any future license you hold will automatically start with 6 points on it,Get 12 and they take it off you.

  7. if you've had your licence less then a year then 6 points is a straight ban and you have to complete both parts of your test again. but as you dont have a licence i would of thought that when you get a licence then the6 points will be added to it. the points are removed after a certain amount of years though

  8. It means that although you can apply for a licence, you cannot take your test until the six points have expired, you have in effect, been given a three year driving ban.

If you amass six points within two years of passing your test, your licence is revoked and you have to start all over again, including both tests, this includes any points gained prior to passing your test.
