6 Senses of Dusk (followup to "I came to sing the sea to sleep")

by Jellz Fisher 2006

All my senses

are here as one.

Waves lap and whisper

in the twilight.

Ambient salt,

carried by

the breeze,

brushes my lips.

Decaying life,

exposed to

the elements

makes me aware

of its history.

Night descends,

day closes.

The cycle of

the tides,

the moon

and my life,

begins again.
