6-yr pharmacy programs for college?

i cant seem to figure out if you apply for that INSTEAD of going to a 4-yr BA degree in pre-pharm, if you apply to that 6 years AFTER the regular 4 years, or if you go to 4 regular college years and then can go to a 2-yr program like the 6-yr one.

and is pharmacy school different than med school?

Instead of a BA.  It's BA/PharmD at the same time.  Or you can do a 4-year BA and then a 4-year PharmD.  Yes, pharmacy school and medical school are two different programs.
