60's hippie van?

I'm looking for somewhere to buy a 60's type van, you know the hippie looking ones, but i'm not sure where the best place to look is. i'm okay with refurbishing it and all. if anyone could let me know if these are even available to find anymore, prices, places to look, anything that would be great.

you won't find a VW unless it needs more work than it's worth. They have become collectors items selling for high prices.

your best bet is too find a older Ford or even a 15 passenger van and modify the way you want.

buying a old car is cool but the cost to fix it is not worth the result unless your wanting a show car.

Its called the VW type 1 or 2, and they are available.

Try carsoup and maybe craigslist and autotrader.

I don't know where you are from . In north america it could have been a VW bus , a fargo in canada, dodge in the states, chevy , ford and they would have different names if you are in britain, austrailia or france.

I'd start with ebay motors. Look for an old VW van. Might be pretty pricey since they are pretty much relics.
