  1. For a first guitar, they have a cheap one in asda for £50 which my friend had bought and it is a really nice one!

  2. It doesn't really matter about the price, it's whether the guitar feel nice and you can hold it comfortably. If its unfortable and bulky, it might put you off.

  3. £60 should be an OK starting point for your first guitar since you are only starting to learn. I would recommend you get something a bit pricier as you get better though.

  4. no thats bad

it means the guitar will be rubbish

i got a starter guitar kit from my local instruiment shop for £130 and its ounded awfull felt bad

and as soon as i learned a few things i got a new guitar a fender for 160

and it sounded so much better

not saying that you should spend loads on the first one incase you dont like it or no offence but you mite be **** nd not be able to play anything(happened to my freind after buying a 200 acoustic)

but dont get the cheapest thing possible get something fairly good

  5. yeah is it Electric or Accoustic i paid £100 for my first electric guitar which came with an Amp.

  6. I agree with Locko.  A guitar that feels right and sits comfortably is worth whatever you can afford.

Today it's all about labels, not whether you can get the job done with the tools you own.

  7. Well I dont know anything about pounds cuz im not british. But it does sound fair but it really doesnt matter anyways. If the guitar feels good (which is like the most important) and sounds good then i would say yes.

    Rock On ^.^v
