600 watt amp installation?

Question

Just bought an amplifier, a 4 channel sony xplod

and i was wondering if i could buy an 8-gauge install kit and it would work fine

alllso, do i need to buy any speaker wire (copper wire) to hook up my subs to the amp

hi dgriff ur in luck u can buy a 8 guage kit for ur amp but u will also need a second set of rca wires u might also want to buy what i call y rca connectors u can buy them in the same place otherwise all u will have is 2 channels instead of  4 just run ur rca wires to each y connector and place into amp then the second for the other y connector will go back into your amp that way u will have four channels. but if ur running a four channel amp for subs bridged it will get hot use them for ur highs and get u a 2 channel amp for ur subs would be a good idea to pick up some new wire remember do it right the first time will last a lifetime  ROCK ON!!!!
