600cc motorbike age???

in the UK after riding a 50cc scooter from 16-17, are you then allowed to buy and use a 600c motorbike with further testing at the age of 17?

  1. No.

    You must pass a test on a motorcycle with an engine capacity of between 51cc and 125cc first.

    You will then be limited to engines with a power output of no more than 33bhp (11kw) for 2 years.  The engine capacity does not matter, it's the power output that does.


  2. no you must first pass test on 125 and then ride for 2 years before going on to 600 but after passing said test you can ride 600 IF IT IS RESTRICTED

  3. tou have to do the direct accsess course....actully passing your test on a big bike[600cc plus]...then u can ride anything.

  4. After you have done your CBT you can do a A2 course which allows you to ride any motorcycle, but it has to be ristricted to 33 bhp then after 2years you can take it off. Hope this helps
