64 Bit vs 32 Bit laptop...?

Question

I was planning to buy a laptop and I wondered which was better; 64 bit or 32 bit. I'll mostly use it to:

1. study: write essays, email, stuff

2. edit videos, download some 3-D editing programs

3. download and play games! this is important

which Bit is better? and can anyone please tell me what programs that are widely used cannot be used with 64 bit, and vise versa?

that all depends on much ram you plan on having. 32bit can only handle 3gb max of ram . but 64bit can have a h**l of a lot more than that but im not sure how much. but to sum up if you lny have 1 or 2gb of ram then just stay with 32 bit as there is no advantage unless you are planning to upgrade in the futre.

by the way a computer with a 64 bit os and 4gb is VERY fast
