64 bit or 32 bit for Vaio?

Hello everyone!

Im a photographer looking to get a laptop to do all my photoediting on!

Im still not even sure about a mac or a sony vaio laptop!

however most probably im gonna end up going for sony!

Im gonna have a 2.8 ghz proccesor and 4 gb of ram

if i get the 32 bit now would i be able to ugrade to 64 bit later on?

or will all the drivers have to be changed to be compatible with the 64 bit?

My work has a system that uses Juniper network for VPN and it uses 32 bit.  If I have a Vaio with 64 bit can I access our system?
