65 Mustang sound system design- Suggestions?

I'm looking to get a nice sound system for my 65 Mustang. I was wondering if there is anyone here that can help me put onr together for less than $600 that will sound great. This will include speakers, amp, sub, etc. I have a custom made radio already. Any and all suggestion would be appreciated. Just to be clear, I would like a nice sounding system. I'm not a rap or louding thumping type person. I want to keep the original look as much as possible. Thanks again.

Can you install everything yourself? if you can, look around at amp and sub dealers in your neighborhood you can find a real nice system way under that price.  speakers are gonna be close to 100 unless you want real nice ones like infinity's then it will be a lot, but stick with low priced companies like kenwood or pioneer you get a good bang for your buck with those companies.  look around for subs and amps, since your a rock dude look for 10 inch subs, and then an amp to match the subs
