  1. i think it means either that, or your phone isn't setup for call return

  2. If someone with blocked caller ID or an automated dialer calls your phone, you can't *69. Basically their phone service blocks your attempt.

  3. I used to work for Cox Communications so I can definitely answer this one from experience.

    *69

returns the Caller ID phone number of the person who last called you.  If the person has CallerID blocking then *69 will not work.

You can avoid this problem by adding "Anonymous Caller Rejection" to your line.  This means that any number that calls you with a blocked Caller ID will be instructed to unblock their Caller ID before calling you by pressing *82.

I would add this since most companies like Cox offer this service for free.

  4. sounds like the lines busy call the operator

  5. That is a pay service. You get charged when you use it.

    Most company's should have it.

Assuming your doing everything correctly, maybe your phone company doesn't offer that service. Could call them & ask.

Or the number that called is being set to block.

    Good Luck.
