England has a major problem! On paper we should have the strongest squad in the world. We certainly have a large reservoir of arguably world class players.

Unfortunately we do not have a TEAM!

I'm not going to slate an individual player, because it is obvious that there is a background problem between team, management and CLUB management!

If one takes the Welsh debacle as the starter, it has to be asked WHY a team, so comprehensively better than the Welsh in the first half, should be so awful in the second.......... because Wales had not improved in that awful 40 minutes!

The problem repeated itself in the match against the Azzuri.

The Frog match was an obvious aberration, because the Murrayfield match was absolutely abysmal!............ a tactically nightmarish desert!

That smacks of one of two things:

Crass tactical decisions, imposed by the backroom staff.

OR

The players are thinking about their coming CLUB commitments and are holding back accordingly!

I leave it to others to decide which is the root problem. However, England have a deep rooted Club versus Country problem, in Football as well as Rugby.

Anyway, Good Luck to Wales. The Frogs won't be able to experiment at the Millenium Stadium!
