  1. He made nine changes to play Italy!

Not exactly short on talent, and player depth.

He is classic poodle - no rhyme or reason. A method to his madness only seen and understood by the mad themselves.

Does look like pretty much the strongest team but. As can be expected - will be a cracker.

  2. I don't like it, as a Welshman. It really looks like Lievremont is targeting this game, to get a good scalp from this tournament (after hardly awe-inspiring wins against Italy, Ireland and Scotland - and a total pantsing from England). Beating Wales (don't mean to sound obnoxious, but based on current circumstances) would be the big bragging point.

He's brought back the big guns - those who were trusted in the World Cup (let's hope they have another England game though, rather than a New Zealand one). They've waltzed through this tournament, and find themselves one result away from pinching the title. If they can do it, then Lievremont can say he's unearthed (alot of) new talent and still put together a competitive squad to bring the title home.

When you look at his potential XV, it's a fearsome sight.

    Heymans

    Malzieu

    Jauzion

    Traille

    Clerc

    Skrela

    Ellisalde

    Barcela

    Szarzewski

    Mas

    Nallet

    Thion

    Bonnaire

    Dusatoir

    Vermeulen

Pretty much all of them are tried and tested game-winners. This is a big game on Saturday.

  3. Rougerie was a shock...this team will definately take time to gell. You can understand him going for the big guns though...

It will be a cracker (as usual).

    I absolutely love these games..

Think welsh fitness in the second half might be  the winning factor as the french can take a second half nap with the best of them.

  4. They are clutching at straws!! Can't believe they dropped Rougerie though , then again, its probably gone in our favour!

  5. Rougerie has been consistently solid throughout the ******* tournament. The coach must not want to win if he's dropping him.   I hope Elissalde will be able to make up for it though..

  6. hmm they are starting to look a bit desperate will al the changes. they must be shaking in their boots

  7. you never know with the french.i think this could be a worry time for them to make so many changes.
