Its his first season in Union. And he gets thrown head first into the national side.

Give him a while to adjust and he will be immense. I think he is under utilised. England dont get the ball out to the wings enough for him to show what he can do. Something which England are criticised for but I dont see whats wrong with playing to your strengths. Vanikolo needs to come into midfield more often, which he did twice yesterday and caused havoc by breaking the first tackle and getting over the gain line. People said Jason Robinson would never make the transition to Union but look what happenned, He helped England win a world cup, reach a final and retired a legend. Give him time.

don't hear  anyone here say anything about an England victory, where are the usual suspects that crow when they lose. As to the man mountain, it's still early days.

The guy is immense.  Try and catch a game when he's playing for Gloucester.  Or even better, look on youtube for footage of his league games for Bulls...

Just look at his record...149 tries in 152 games for Bradford..

The guy hasn't had a chance to shine yet, and that's more due to the rugby that's being played around him.

Tonight he played amazing...and if you think that game was boring you need to choose a different sport to watch. I was on the edge of my seat half the match.  Dragging those players into touch got us lineouts...he basically turned over ball for us.

Plus watch some of his tackles from this evening...he's unstoppable.  He hits hard and fast...just what we need for the game to progress.

***Welshchick - They said Jason Robinson wasn't RU when he first moved over and look at what he did!!  There are plenty of fantastic examples of RL players moving into RU.  They play a faster more physical game, and it shows once you bring them onto a union team.  Give the guy a chance and he'll prove what all the fuss is about.***

He has a namesake,( not sure if he`s related ) playng for the Highlanders ,this is his 1st season in Super  14.....this guy is twice the winger Leslie is . Scored a good try last night.

unfortunately his talents are wasted in the "kicking" game....as any rugby fan will have seen,he was  unstoppable in "the greatest game"....and as we all see if you get a penalty in the"kicking " game ,it"s go for goal,go for goal,go for goal.....it"s not the volcano you should be asking about anyway....when wilkinson hangs up his boots whats the "kicking" game gonna do then? panic....
