6cd changer code needed for renault megane cc 2004

Question

i have a renault megane convertible 2004 reg,i was trying to put a code in for the 6 cd changer,but put the wrong code in and now it says "error" on the lcd screen in the center console.i haven't got a manual with this car so am not sure what to do.the code is for numbers long 1-9.it wont play any music at all.hopefully someone has the answer
