6months back i have applied for visiting visa and now i want to apply for job visa can i apply like that?

If the six months are not up yet and you already have an employer your employer will have to file for the sponsorship for your H1 visa. You'll have to apply for an extension of your visiting visa,  It's a long excruciating process but if you get approved,  then you wouldn't have any problems. However, in the US, you might have to check with an immigration lawyer on how this process goes cause they might have chaged some rules and regulations. The last time a friend of mine did it (in 2004) she had to go back to our country to wait for her approval there. One friend before her who applied in 2001 got approved and didn't have any problems staying in the US while waiting for his H1.

the only way you can apply for a work visa? is if you already have found a job offer in the country where you want to work, and have an actual job offer, prior to you applying for the visa;
