6th grade makeup?Help please!!!

Question

I'm going into 6th grade and I want to start wearing makeup (not a lot).I was thinking just some lip gloss, a LITTLE bit of mascara, and MAYBE some light brown eyeshadow (natural looking)?Would this look bad?And maybe cover up if I get a bad zit?I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard.I also don't know what too wear?not really girly.any advice?

save the bright, colourful makeup for parties.

Besides, kids your age make a LOT of mistakes in applying and it can look terrible.

plus most elementary schools forbid makeup anyways.

i started wearing make up when i was in 9th grade!

my sister is in 6th grade so this is what i usually tell her to do

Lips: victoria secret lip glosses are always nice and tasty ;;dap on a little bit because its glittery

Mascara: always curl your lashes before mascara i have long eyelashes so i use maybelline defining mascara in dark black, the dark black makes them longer and brighter;; after the mascara drys i curl them again so they can stay up and curly.

if you get any mascara on the top of your eye by accident ; take a q-tip dip it in water and rub it against your eye to take some mascara out.

i dont use eyeshadow so im not really sure what to use:)

Cover up- whenever i wanna cover up some zits i apply maybelline dream matte mouse it is really  softtt and natural i dont like using powders becuase i dont like looking like i have so much make up on so i suggest using maybelline and covergirl if you want to go for the more expensive kinds i sometimes use benefit cosmetics, they sell them at sephora :)

i would stick to just lip gloss. anything else is just too much for a 6th grader. also, to wear, try some jeans and just a t-shirt. if you want, you can wear a mini skirt. that wouldn't be too girly.

Stick with just lipgloss.

I'm 14, going into the 9th grade and only wear lipgloss and coverup if i get a zit.

I didn't think about makeup when I was in Jr. High lol.  I didn't even wear it in high school.  It's better for your skin to never wear it :c)

I would stay very natural - some lip gloss (not too gooey or shiny) and that's it.  If you really want to highlight your eyes then some very light mascara.  There is also clear mascara you could try.  If you must do eye shadow then a light earth tone like a very light brown.

Concealer is fine if you get the right shade.  Just apply a tiny bit and blend well.  Check it in the daylight - you don't want it to stick out like a sore thumb.

oh who cares about how old ppl are on yahoo!!! lol!! not being meen theres a lot of ppl under 13!!!! I wore a lot of makeup in 6th grade. i wore eyeshadow eyeliner mascara and lip gloss and somedays it was dark!!! And I know that was way to much and in my old school it was a rule with now makeup!!

I remember in 6th grade a few girls started wearing makeup but just some mascara and some lip gloss. I think it just depends what you want. Everyone is different when they decide to start wearing make up. Just dont over do it

That's sound like a good idea.

It looks a bit silly to paste makeup on your face.

Also, keep in mind that it's hot out. You don't want to be between classes with your "face" melting off.

Maybe wear lip gloss with a TOUCH of pink color. Looks natural.

Wear WATERPROOF mascara with no eyeliner. It tends to smudge and you'll look like a raccoon.

Light Cocoa eye shadow looks great...if you use it sparingly. Just apply a little to your eyelid. Follow the natural curve. Go up toward the edge of your eye outward. Make sure you blend it.

If you have a zit, apply a TINY bit of concealer. Blend.

Just don't overdo it!

dont wear too much make up in 6th grade just put some pink lip gloss on and some clear mascara no eyeshadow or concealer. the concealer will dry up and look not so pretty
