Who would you take there? this is assuming LT, AD, S Jax, Westbrook, and Addai go top 5 as expected. I've heard some discussion about how this is a tough choice. Some possibilities are Brady, Peyton, Moss, Larry Johnson, Gore, Barber...but you can put in another person, just give a good reason.

  1. I don't know. I personally always go with a RB in the first round, no exceptions! So I don't like Braber because he is going to share time with Felix Jones and he barely gets 950 yards himself. So No with him. Brady, Peyton, Moss out! I go with Gore because he has the making of a LT, a very compact player with 75-reception and 275-carry capability in a offense where it's going to be all about him. And with Mike Martz and his genious running schemes, Gore will surely produce! So with pick 6, take Frank Gore!!!!

  2. I can't see Jax being in the top 5.  I'd probably take Gore, especially if you get points for rbs receiving.  Forget Moss or any other receiver.  And I wouldn't take a QB with a top 10 pick.

  3. Marion Barber is going to be a beast this season. Without Julius Jones splitting carries he is going to go crazy. Trust me you will thank me when the fantasy playoffs roll around.

  4. All depends on the league.

In our league, I think you have to go Tom Brady here because QBs are worth so much.

In your standard league, I think I'm going to have to go with Tom Brady again because there really is no RB that is this good. Portis, Barber, Gore all are not this great.

So Brady either way for me.

  5. Either take Gore or Barber because you can get a decent QB in later rounds

There are 10 or 12 teams in your league and 30 NFL teams with a starting QB

I would consider taking a QB in a later round

  6. forget LJ ive seen him slip late 2nd round and I dont trust KC at ALL

Moss cant go this High He could get Injured and mess up your whole season.

Think about Barber here and getting Romo in the 2nd round.

    OR

Take Brady and Take Ryan Grant in the 2nd Round

  7. It is a tough choice but i hope this helps:

Brady: ridiculous year last year. he likely won't repeat last year's #s, but should still be amazing. Taking a QB in the 1st round though is always a bit of a reach.

Peyton: he's very good himself, but you shouldn't draft him by any means, especially if Brady is still available.

Moss: drafting a receiver in the first round is always a huge reach, but his #s were phenomal last year. You must also note that he is much more injury prone then the rest of the players on this list.

Larry Johnson: He is a great runningback, probably the best of this bunch by far, but his offensive line is terrible. Don't draft him here.

Barber: he was very good last year, but he is going to be splitting time again this year, which will definitely limit his production. Avoid drafting him.

Gore: He is the safest and probably smartest choice. He is extremely versatile and helps in both running and receiving and this year Mike Martz is focusing his entire offense around him. If Alex Smith or whoever else can hold even a medicore passing threat Gore will be primed for a monster year.

  8. It all depends on your league settings.  If setting lean toward passing stats take Brady, if it leans toward the runners but also count rec take Gore.

  9. Trade Down!  If you can.

    1. LJ

    2. Gore
