i have a onkyo receiver. what does the PANORAMA and the DIMENSION menu do on your receiver, it sounds as if it doesnt make a diffrents when i change it

  1. The differences are subtle, but they are there trust me. Panorama adds a sort of "wrap-arround" effect between the front and rear speakers and Dimension is to determine how much of the volume is in the front or rear, putting it at the default setting is best and from there adjust the individual speaker volume settings. In some systems there is also a C. Image or center image which determines how much of the center channel sound is sent to the rest of the speakers, at the lowest setting the vocals will stay in the center speaker only, the higher you go the more the vocals are blended into the other speakers.
