1. How do you like the schedule for your favorite team?

2. If you went to a hockey game and the first second you stepped into the arena you found out that your favorite team got Crosby (and for Penguin fans, if you found out you got Ovechkin).

A. Would you buy a Crosby or Ovechkin jersey that day?

B. What would be the increase percentage of puckbunnies for your favorite team? 100% increase? 25% increase?

3. Which minor league prospect on your favorite team would you like to see play in teh NHL next season?

4. What is the max number of bottles of beer would you drink in one night to have full season tickets?

5. Would you miss your son/daughter's college graduation to see a Stanley Cup Final Game 4? The series would be 2-1, not 3-0.

6. Are you better than most hockey players at golf?

7. Out of all the starting goaltenders in the NHL, who would you think would have the most points if they were not a goaltender?

8. 2011 Winter Classic, who should play and where?

  1. 1. I really like it, the Pens get to be in the kickoff (sorry for lack of a better term) in Stockholm. I hope they listen to ABBA :]

    2. I wouldn't buy an Ovie shirt THAT day, but I would eventually haha. The puckbunnie percentage would go up by alot idk the exact amount haha.

    3. Hmmm idk about that one.

    4. OMG I would drink like 50 absolute max. Of course idk how I'd use em since they are in Pittsburhg and I am in Georgia.

    5. I'd make them miss it with me and we'd go to the game and have a better time ther than any g*y graduation.

    6. I highly doubt that one, I've never golfed in my life outside of minature.

    7. Hmm, this is a toughie, but I'm gonna go with Rick DiPietro.

    8. Well that really all depends on how the next seasons go.

  2. 1)Pretty good I mean we at least play everybody once. It'll be tough though against the Pacific Division but I'm sure the Dallas Stars can handle it.

    2) A. Probably wouldn't buy a jersey. I'd be wondering who we gave up more than anything.

    B. And I don't care about any puckbunnies.

    3) Ray Sawada or James Neal. Only 1 or 2 winger spots open and if theres 2 i think you'll see these guys in those spots.

    4) Can't quite drink yet but if I could I don't even know haha.

    5) As much as a hockey fan I am I would probably have to miss the hockey game. It would kill me though.

    6) I'm kind of O.K. at golf but I guarantee you I'm not as good as the hockey players.

    7) Marty Turco. He did play some forward I believe when he was younger. Plus he is in my mind the greatest goalie puck handler in the NHL right now.

    8) Dallas v. Detroit at Lambeau Field.

By the way Teal Town, Yankee Stadium is getting demolished right after the 2008 baseball season. Now I don't like the Yankees but the stadium has a lot of legacy in it and its a shame to see it go. But it would be a good place for a hockey game.

  3. 1. I like it.

    2.b

    3.Brady Holtby

4.I can go all night, so unlimited.(tops maybe 20-23 total in real world terms)

    5. My family is all important, above all else, so no. A game is a game, not life.

6.Do not have time to play, so I would say no.

    7.Cary Price

    8.Caps and Flames @ Saskatoon.

  4. 1. The Leafs are in limbo so I really don't care if the schedule's good for them or not. Not exactly playoff contenders (let alone Cup contenders), not exactly a basement team either.

    2. No, I will not give any more money to MLSE unless it's absolutely necessary...like a small beer. Knowing the braindead idiots in Toronto, PBs will increase about nine fold.

    3. Justin Pogge. But then again, I'm not very up to date on the Marlies.

    4. Just put me next to the emergency entrance in the hospital. I doubt that I'll be able to go to all of them, so I'll probably end up selling some on eBay.

    5. No, a 2-1 game wouldn't mean as much as an elimination game to me. If I raised my kid right, s/he won't even be going to the graduation (I never went to mine).

    6. I'm sure I'm better than at least one pro hockey player at golf. I've seen some of them play, and I can definitely do better.

    7. ??? Either Turco or Brodeur, I guess...

    8. They shouldn't. Make it an every other year event or once every four years event and it'll be much more meaningful.

  5. 1. its to long the NHL needs less games not more

    2.a. no

    b.i dont no

    3.does Gerbe count?

    4. how much you got?

    5. First of all i dont have kids im 16... and if there still playing hockey in the last week of june then yes

    6.  yes

    7. miller and i dont no why... his brother is a winger

    8. buffalo

  6. 1.) I'm pretty happy about it.  The Sharks are playing in Prudential, and I'm happy about that because they're my favorite Western team so I'll have another chance to see them again!  I'm just bummed that the Red Wings won't be playing in Jersey though.

2.) A - Definitely not.  The Islanders made the mistake of making those Smyth jerseys, everyone bought them, and he was only on the team for half a season.  Tough luck.  Even if the Devils ended up signing Crosby to a multi-year deal, I still wouldn't buy his jersey.  He's still the face of the Penguins, and until he proves himself to be a Devil, then I'll buy his jersey.

B - Probably only 100%.  We've already got Zach Parise on our team that the bunnies go wild for, and the combo of Parise and Crosby, forget about it.  The bunny migration's going to flood into Jersey.

3.) Nicklas Bergfors.  He played a couple games for the Devils, but then got injured.

4.) Well, considering I can't drink yet...probably not many.  Maybe 4.  lol.  I can hold down one, but that's it.  4 will make me sick.

5.) No.  I love hockey, but some things are more important.  And it's not like the series will end that game anyway, but even so I'd go to the graduation.  The Devils will make the Final once in a while, but my future kid's graduation is a once in a lifetime thing.

6.) No!  I've only played mini golf twice in my life, and I'm horrible.

7.) Brodeur!  He's got very good stick handling skills, and has scored 2 goals!

8.) Islanders and Rangers at the Rockefeller Center ice rink.

  7. 1) i think it's cool that we play teams from the Eastern Conference

    2) probably a 95% chance

    3) hmmm, idk

    4) 5

    5) if it was 3-0 then maybe...if it's 2-1, then i'll miss the game instead

    6) nope

    7) Rick DP

    8) hmmm, maybe at Gillette Stadium...the Bruins vs. the Islanders

  8. 1) Its perfectly fine. I'm just glad I get to see the Wings play my hometown team (the Caps) this year in DC.

    2A) Crosby no, Ovechkin yes

    2B) 100%

    3) Probably Jimmy Howard although Jonathan Ericsson is a close second

    4) As many as it takes.

    5) I don't have any kids but no I wouldn't. Family first

    6) No I don't golf

    7) I guess Turco cause he is such a good stick handler

    8) Wild and Rangers, somewhere in Minnesota (I'm not sure where they could have it)

  9. 1.Its alright, alot of away games, not enough home games vs. Toronto. hah.

2.Yes i would by one of their jerseys in a heartbeat.

And the increase would be probably 40% since there are already so many. haha.

3.Tim Kennedy!!!! He was awesome for Michigan State

4.as many until i pass out. but i dont have to worry about that, i already have full season tickets.

5.I would have my husband send me a live feed on my cell phone of my daughter graduating...ill watch it at intermission. hah.

6.Thank god, i wouldn't want them focusing on golf too long.

7.Thats a good question...I think Roberto Luongo, he seems like he would be a good playmaking forward.Because he already is a good playmaker in the net.

8.It should be at NYRangers  vs. Flyers

it would be cool if it was possible to have it at Rockefeller center. but if not, wherever. But NYC would be a cool place to have it when the snow is falling.

  10. 1) Generally ok, but upset that the Habs visit to Dallas is on a Sunday night in March (as a student I will likely have school Monday morning - and DFW is 500+ miles away, and that's the closest NHL team to me)

2a) It would depend on my financial situation - and I have a Habs jersey where I could just get the name and number put on.

2b) 1000% being that Crosby played juniors in Quebec.

    3) Mike Tuomi in the CHL has NHL speed in my opinion. Just needs to be more agressive in the offencive zone.

    4) What number did you have in mind, and I will let you know if I think I can handle that much alcohol.

    5) If it were my own son or daughter, I would be there for their graduation.

    6) Probably not. I haven't hit the links in years.

    7) Martin Brodeur

    8) Toronto and Montreal at the Alouettes stadium. (CFL)

  11. 1) im pretty pleased with the schedule, as we will probably win or first games against the islander. but then we have like 5 straight away games right after, which kinda pisses me off.

2)i might buy a shirt, but i doubt a jersey.

well new jersey doesnt have any puck bunnies in the first place, or at least none that i've seen, so i guess you technically cant have a 100% increase of zero... but yeah, we'd get alot probably

3)i really wanna see mattias tedenby play, as all ive heard is good things about him.

    4) alot... but hopefully i'd wake up and remember i had them, and not realize it while i was watching the last game of the season on tv

    5) nope, 2-1 isnt that amazing

    6) i used to be good at golf, now im horrible

7)i think brodeur would. him or ward. they both seem like amazing puck-handlers and have wicked shots

    8) rangers vs. devils at the new yankee stadium

  12. 1) Alright I guess.

    2) a. No b. 75%

    3) Nikita Filatov

    4) Not old enough to drink :)

    5) Well when/if I have kids I hope they will be hockey fans too, so they'd probably be with me!

    6) Never golfed =0

    7) Martin Broduer

    8) Montreal and Rangers in New York

  13. 1) Its alright

    2) I hate Crosby, but yea if Ovechkin came to the wings it would b awsome

    3) Justin Abdelkader(sp?)

    4)25

    5) No it would hav 2 b 3-0

    6)Mayb Putt-Putt

    7)Im pullin for Brouder(sp?)

7.Good question. That guy Nashville drafted Chet Pickard is good with the puck

    8.Ottawa vs Toronto in Nunavut.

  15. 1)When you're the 5 worst team in the league and hardly did anything to improve yourself, each night is tough. March looks really bad, with a 6-game road trip and a game at Detroit.

    2) A. No

         B. 100%. Then there would be someone else besides

               Hillary Duff

3)Kyle Okposo should play full-time after his short introduction last season.

4)Depends on the beer and alcohol content. Probably enough to fall off my Islanders-covered bar stool. Does O'Douls count?

    5) No. If I'm still alive in 15 years(knocks wood) I wouldn't miss that. It only happens once, and I have already have been fortunate enough to attend a number of SCF playoff games.

6)No. Golf is a waste of good real estate. Even the announcers from 40 yards away in the booth have to whisper. If you can't perform while people are cheering or booing, you're a waste.

7)Rick DiPietro. He loves to handle the puck.  Too bad the Isles can't use him in a shootout.

8)Montreal and Toronto somewhere. I don't think the new Yankee Stadium will be an option in 2010, unless you know something I didn't hear about. Link, maybe?

  16. 1) I like it just fine. The Red Wings will actually be down here for the first time in three years .

    5. No... I would have to be there for something like that!

    6. NO!!! I suck!

    7. Brodeur.. I mean dosen't he already have like 2 goals!

    5.  Just became a father, and it is the greatest thing ever, so my sons graduation is tops.

    6.  I doubt it, most hockey players have great control with the hands and eyes, I am a bogey golfer.

    7.  It probably would be someone who is pretty agile and shifty.  I guess I would go with T Vokoun.

    8.  Minnesota.  The Twins will have a outdoor stadium built.  I believe it opens up for the 2010 season.  Been to a few Wild games, and those fans are the best in the US.  They know what it is like to lose a team, and have been given a second life.  ---a bit off topic, but I feel Winnipeg would be the same way if given a second chance.
