  1. Check with the Thai Embassy, but I think the ASEAN passports, with some exception like Cambodia and Laos, are allowed in Thailand for 15 days for Visa on arrival. In most cases, Thailand is giving a one month tourist visa on arrival to most of the passports. Like I said check again, I'm pretty sure 7 days is ok.

  2. if your not sure and want peace of mind  contact  the embassy.

    Royal Thai Embassy

    107 Rada Street,

    Legaspi Village Makati,

    Metro Manila, P.O.Box 1228, Makati

    Tel : (632) 815-4220, 816-0696-7,

    812-8983,810-3833,894-0404-5

  3. You absolutely do not need an affidavit of any kind, only a valid passport with 6-month validity pass the date of your intended stay and sufficient funds (10,000 THB or equivalent), and you most likely won't even be asked to show sufficient funds. Philippine passport holders are eligible for a 30 day visa exemption, seven days should be no problem whatsoever.

  4. just passport and some cash in your pocket, 7 days isn't a problem maybe contact embassy if u required anything more..but if u have enough money it's ok.

  5. no, you do not need any affidavit of any kind.  that is, i am assuming you are of legal age (above 21 yrs old).

just make sure your passport is valid within six months from the date of travel, and that you have a return trip ticket to the philippines. (if you only have a one-way ticket, then immigration would definitely be suspicious)

    .

by the way, you also have to bring along any valid philippine ID (sss card, driver's license, etc)  sometimes, airport personnel will require two ID's upon entry to the airport to check-in.

member of asean countries, like the philippines and thailand, can visit each other country without any visa and will be allowed to stay for 2 weeks without any problem.

bon voyage ... and have a romantic travel ...
