7 on 7 Mega Tag Team Elimination match – Team Nexus vs. Team RAW – Part 2
Tyson Kidd enters the ring and delivers wild kicks to Heath Slater’s chest after cornering him in the ring. Tyson Kidd was full of rage and wanted to finish the match right there and then.  He then tagged in the big David Hart Smith who beat the h**l out of Heath Slater. Just when David Hart Smith was about to finish the match, Justin Gabriel came from behind and distracted David. This disregard for the rules of professional wrestling by Nexus helped Heath Slater gather his strength and attack David Hart Smith by executing his wrestling finisher. Heath Slater went for the cover and eliminated David Hart Smith. The Nexus members then eliminated the veteran Goldust in the same fashion.
It was now just 7 on 3 and the world’s strongest man, Mark Henry was the only hope for the RAW wrestling superstars to win the match. Mark Henry switched the momentum of the match as he picked up David Otunga multiple times and slammed his back on to the ring floor. It was Skip Sheffield who rose to the challenge from Mark Henry. Skip Sheffield delivered a vicious close line and knocked Mark Henry down. It was all over as Skip Sheffield went for the cover and the referee counted Mark Henry out. The other half of the United Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd was eliminated in a similar fashion by the Nexus.
It was only the high flying Evan Bourne who remained in the match. The 7 menacing wrestlers of the Nexus group were looking at Evan Bourne and were laughing at his fate. They knew that it was all over. If there might have been any wrestler other than Evan Bourne, he might have run away rather than confront the mightier, dominant Nexus. But Evan Bourne astonished everyone as he made the decision to stand in the ring and fight Nexus till the last moment.
It was the leader of Nexus, Wade Barrett who entered the ring to finish things off. Instead of fighting Wade Barrett, Evan Bourne ran to the Nexus ring corner and made the desperate move of trying to kick every Nexus member in the face. Evan Bourne tried his best but he was no match for the seven Nexus wrestlers. Next, Wade Barrett put the exclamation point on things as he picked up Evan Bourne by his shoulder and slammed his back hard on the ring floor. It was all over as Wade Barrett went for the cover and the referee started counting to three with Evan Bourne shoulders touching the ring floor.
But the fun did not end for the Nexus as its members continued to beat Evan Bourne after the formal end of the match. David Otunga and Michael Tarver picked up Evan Bourne and set him up so that Skip Sheffield could execute the hardest close line ever seen in the wrestling ring. Skip Sheffield ran in the ring and knocked down Evan Bourne with his signature close line. David Otunga executed his wrestling finisher by picking Evan Bourne, tossing him high in the air, and smashing his back on the ring floor. Then it was Justin Gabriel’s turn to have some fun, as he climbed the top turn buckle and executed his famous 450 splash to land on Evan Bourne’s abdomen.
The splash marked the end of the suffering for Evan Bourne. After all this carnage in the ring, Wade Barrett addressed the professional wrestling world. He said that he and his team would tear apart the team of John Cena at the coming Summer Slam. He also said that the team of John Cena would explode against each other and it would be the mighty Nexus team that will stand united and victorious at the end of Summer Slam.
