My gums have been bleeding for about a week now. I know I take good care of my teeth and this is just a symptom but I cant take it. How long does this usually last and is there anything to combat it?

  1. I would go to the dentist. Pregnant women can have big problems with their gums and whatnot during pregnancy.

  2. The prenatal vitamins should make it stop once they get in your system for a while. Congratulations on your baby (:

  3. brush gently and don't floss to much ur gums are very sensitive at the moment i also take good care of my teeth and im 21 weeks and my gums are still bleeding every time i brush, but after a while it stops. i advice u to see ur dentist, but make sure u inform him or her u r expecting

    hope it helps

  4. bleeding gum condition is prevalent in pregnant women. seek the help of a dental expert and a physician as soon as possible. use an all natural oral rinse that can help beat the cause of bleeding gums which is harmful bacteria. pay close attention to oral health. do not do overzealous brushing as this can irritate the gums and cause bleeding. for more tips about natural treatments for bleeding gums visit http://www.oramd.co.uk
