I am aprox. 7 weeks pregant and had some back pains, nothing too great just felt like period cramps. Well i went to the bathroom when I wiped it was brownish pink, is this something to be worried about, i had an ultrasound done tuesday and all it showed was a sac and a yolk, the tech said i maybe just too early to see the fetal pole. Could this be the start of a miscarriage? Im trying to get a hold of my dr all day but he wont return my call. Im waiting for my hubby to get home from work to take me to the er. But in the mean time I wanted some other peoples experience with a miscarriage.

  1. i just had a miscarriage if your brownish pinkish turn bright red then worry, i spotted brown for a couple days then  is was like a period, but worse, i would call your doctor back, who cares if your brothing them, you have a concern

  2. I had spotting around 8 weeks.  It was brownish.  I was told that was old blood.  They did a sonogram and we did see the heartbeat.  They said I had a cyst that ruptured.  I had bleeding after that as well.  That was from placenta previa where the placenta covers part or all of the cervix and can cause bleeding.  It isn't uncommon to have light cramping or spotting during pregnancy but definitely go to the doctor or ER to make sure that it isn't a miscarriage.

  3. ive had 3 miscarriages they stared with me bleeding like the first day of my period which is a small amount but it was fresh blood u mite just b spotting which is quite normal for some women

  4. I've not miscarriage before, but spotting at the beginning is normal..I had that too..like brownish with pinkish..and also with cramping and back pain..But still get hold of your doctor just to make sure everything is fine..

    Good luck !

  5. Brownish pink is just normal spotting during pregnancy. Don't stress so much, it can cause more problems. As far as the fetal pole it was probably too early. Don't worry about it too much. Spotting is completely normal. If you have bright red, that's when you can worry. Brown blood is old blood.
