  1. My 7 year old nephew just got circmcised because his f******n was too tight...it is probably a good idea to take him to see a urologist for a check-up and see what they suggest as to whther the young lad will "grow" out of this problem or if circumcision is his only hope.     Apparently even young boys play with themselves and this usually fixes any such problems but sometimes intervention is needed.

I  believe in leaving boys "whole"  but this young fella is so happy now that he can pee normally...it was awful to think the poor boy had been having dificulty for the last few years...7 is apparently a good age to fix this issue.

  2. Firstly, can I warn you to disregard the answer given by Surfnyoga above. He is a known circumcision-fetishist on this site and his suggestion to get a healthy, normal 7-year-old circumcised is weird and perverted.

Now, for a proper answer to your question:

Every boy is different. Most boys foreskins can be retracted at least partially by the age of 7, although a European study found the average age of full retraction was just over 10½ years old. However, that's only an 'average' — some boys can't retract it until puberty.

This is something that you must not try to rush with lubrication or lotions, and certainly never force it back. Your son should discover the capabilities of his f******n himself and he should be the first one to pull it back.

There is of course no harm in educating him about his f******n now, though. Bottom line: don't worry, I am sure your son and his p***s are fine.

  3. A boys forskin will come loose on its own in due time, it occurs at different ages in different boys and may not be complete untill he is 17. So my advice is just leave it alone and one day it will come free on its own.

And no matter what people say DO NOT HAVE HIM CIRCUMSISED!!!

  4. No.

If you are uncircumcised, you will always have your f******n.

Circumcision is the only process by which it will come off of the p***s.

  5. yes the f******n will get looser as your boy gets older but he should be pulling the f******n back to wash his p***s

talk to your doctor if he is having problems

    What is f******n retraction?

f******n retraction occurs when the f******n can be pulled back away from the glans toward the abdomen. This process happens on its own. When it happens is different for every child. It may take a few days, weeks, months, or even years. [Or the f******n may never become retractable.] This is normal. Most boys will be able to retract their foreskins by the time they are 18 years old. Some foreskins retract soon after birth. Separation can even occur before birth, but it is rare. As a boy becomes more aware of his body, he will most likely discover how to retract his own f******n. Sometimes the f******n will puff out, like a balloon, while a boy urinates. This is normal and is a sign that the f******n and the glans have begun to separate from each other. [Bravo again! The normality of ballooning is seldom admitted. Ballooning is commoner in small boys than young men.] f******n retraction should never be forced. While the f******n is still attached to the glans of the p***s, do not try to pull it back, especially in an infant. Forcing the f******n to retract before it is ready may harm the p***s and cause pain, bleeding, and tears in the skin.

[This paragraph would be more coherent if events were put in sequence, as they are in this site's Care of the Intact p***s.]

  6. It breaks free by itself just remind him to wash it properly and don't force it back too far.

  7. About 4-5 yo! Go see your doctor and have him circumcised!

  8. Any time before or in puberty, the average age is 10 so at 7 he is still under the average so it may take a few more years. For some guys it doesn't happen until age 15 or 16 or older. If he's not experiencing major pain, and can urinate, then don't worry.

The f******n and head should gradually separate at some point, there's no need to try and force it yourself, though explain to him that when he can retract the f******n partially or totally, to do so when bathing and rinse underneath.

A cream is only needed in older teens whose f******n is still too tight to pull back.
